Elon Musk Says Robotaxis Are Tesla's Future. Experts Have Doubts.

Musk envisions Tesla’s future in A.I., particularly in the development of driverless taxis, or robotaxis. Musk claims that Tesla is close to perfecting these vehicles and expects easy regulatory approval. He also suggests that Tesla owners will be able to earn money by allowing their cars to be used as robotaxis while they are asleep or at work. Musk believes that the robotaxi service could significantly increase Tesla’s market value.
